A blue-skinned youth in saffron-gold silks with a peacock feather in his hair sits at the reins on the driver’s seat, turned back over his shoulder; behind him under a domed canopy an armoured warrior sits with his bow and quiver laid down beside him, his head turned away. A saffron banner bearing a monkey flies above them, a bronze bird at the head of its staff
