In plain words
There is no cloth without thread; there is no jewel without gold, there can be no pot without clay; there can be no world without Brahman. For the body made of Brahman to become wholly made of Brahman, in a Prakṛti made of Brahman: that itself is the chief task. To make the effort to bring such sacred Jñāna to blossom is itself the proper path, the highest path.
Man is born with the cry Koham, koham; then his kin and friends begin to laugh with joy. Laughter for the elders! Crying for the child that is born! For the elders, desire for the world! For the little one, who knows nothing of worldly desires, desire for God! If that is how it is at the hour of birth, at the final hour you must be free of desire and give up the breath of life with a pure heart, with the answer called Soham, with the light of Jñāna. While the devotees laugh at that moment, serenely, full of Ānanda, their kin and friends begin to weep, saying that a loss has truly befallen them. So you must know that the body was given for the sake of sacred deeds. You must make the mind and the intellect blossom along the highest path, merge the Ātma in the Paramātma, and so make your life fruitful.
