So you must follow that leader. For from daybreak until night He does every little task Himself. That is why I say, “My life is message.” Bhagavān and Bhagavān's word: the two are not opposed. So, to do as Swami does. To do as Swami says: by doing in these two ways, this itself brings God's grace and His nearness. If you act in this way, you become wholly worthy of Swami's grace. What Swami wants is niṣkāma karma. Without looking for any fruit, you must not think, “I must get a name, I must get a post, my name must appear in the Paper in big letters.” In the Seva Dal's working committee, you must see that there are no differences of opinion between anyone. There must be no room at all for personal hatreds. Whomever you hate, you become one who hates your Swami. Knowingly or unknowingly, some mistakes may arise among people. Past is Past, forget the past. It is over and done. Forget it, and if from now on you take part in this service with mutual regard, with the feeling of the Ātma, through the bond of the one Ātma, the fame of our Sathya Sai Seva Dal members can spread across the world, and they can become an example. We must build the mansion of our life on the ideal of selfless service. Through this ideal, niṣkāma service, you will gather in all the other ideals as well. Hoping that you will hold this alone as your goal and this alone as your ideal, and press forward in the work you have still to do, I bless you and bring My talk to a close.
