In plain words

Teachers, embodiments of the divine Ātma!

The wise know well that the field of education today is crowded with problems that would plunge any thinking person into confusion. The educational institutions bear the responsibility of shaping every field of daily life, making each one strong and wholesome. Humility and obedience, the spirit of service and a large heart, which are the chief marks of education, have today become somewhat lame. The human qualities, Satya, Prema, forbearance and the rest, are not to be found even in a trace. That is why the places of learning are turning into homes of unrest today. When people ask why this is so, many say that the students themselves are the cause. That is not the right answer. Nor can one find people who understand the matter. There are many causes, direct and indirect, and of many other kinds as well.

The root causes of the problems in education: parents, teachers, management, government and writers

Teachers do not understand the feelings of the students, and students do not take the teachers' words upon their heads. For these reasons the management, too, do not recognise their own responsibility. The government, which should understand their difficulties, also does not take the right measures in time. So the students lose patience and set about starting disturbances of various kinds. Seizing this moment, some politicians enter, and many other evil forces enter too, and they turn the institutions of learning into battlefields.
