All of them stood at a very high level! The reason is that they shaped their ideal into a fine path for men to follow. Though all of them were emperors, they renounced all attachment, became worthy of the Grace of the Lord of all, and each became an ideal figure on his own path.
Only because rulers and great souls followed such an ideal, experienced it and attained it, could the people of those days go on restraining all the force of Manas. Next Thursday let us talk about how each emperor experienced Divinity on each path. To speak of the nine paths would take at least two hours. So today, recognise well the principle of Rāja Yoga and of yama, niyama and the rest, and try to put it into practice as far as possible. Hoping that through this not only will your lives be fulfilled, but you will stand as an ideal to the whole country, and blessing you, I bring My discourse to a close.
