In plain words
A man without this breadth of heart lives a narrow life. Such a life turns into a living corpse. Living death. So we must make the principle of Prema grow. We must look on all with compassion. We must believe in one country, one humanity. Even if all human beings hold a feeling of brotherhood, that is not fullness. There are those who, with many quarrels among brothers, went as far as the Supreme Court. So even among brothers, some differences and divisions may arise. But what we must develop today is the sense of one Ātma. When we hold the sense of one Ātma, that the Ātma in all, in all living beings, in all creatures, is one alone, then whomever you hurt, you will have hurt yourself. Whomever you make happy, you will have made yourself happy. So we must recognise the truth that whatever you may do, whatever you may see, whatever you may say, whatever you may think, all of it you have done to yourself. That is the true way of life. That is the game of life.
So we must not think that divinity appears to us in some one form. The formless principle, without attributes, stainless, eternal, the abode, the form ever pure, awake, free and spotless. All the endless attributes have names no one understands. We cannot demonstrate such a principle, which no one understands. That is why Satya itself is God. Search of truth is search of god. Truth is God. God is because truth is god. So our search for Satya is the search for God. This Satya does not change. So we must follow such a path of Satya. We must foster truthful speech. We must lead a life of Satya. We must turn it into a land of Satya. That is the chief duty of today's students. Along with learning, Vijñāna; along with Vijñāna, sujñāna; along with sujñāna, the knowledge of the Ātma; and along with the knowledge of the Ātma, recognising the principle of Brahman and living by it, may you enjoy Ānanda: with this wish, and blessing you, I bring My discourse to a close.
