In plain words
This they called divinity; this they called consciousness. This they called existence. This they called Sat. So no substance of any kind can stand without this root energy, which bears so many names. For the moving car, the road that does not move stays fixed. If the road too moves along with the car, there will be an accident. So one is fixed. The second is moving. So in this world what moves cannot exist without what is fixed. So divinity abides eternal, Satya, in a state that never passes. This they called the root energy.
All forms and names keep on changing. The divine energy in these forms and names, the combined energy of the atoms, the energy that is the essence of the atoms, never changes. You gave Me some silver. With that silver I had a tumbler made. The silver is yours, the tumbler is Mine. Now, if some difference arises between the two of us, you will say, "Give me my silver." I say, "I want the tumbler." But if I give you the silver, I will have no tumbler. If you give Me My tumbler, you will have no silver. This tumbler is one with the silver. When I give you My tumbler, the silver comes to you along with the tumbler; when you yourself give Me the silver, the tumbler comes to Me along with the silver. The tumbler is the moving, the silver the fixed. So it is not possible to divide these two. That is why divinity is nothing but the combined form of these two, Prakṛti and the Paramātma. But just because all is the form of God, we cannot experience all substances alike. In each substance the energy of each atomic wave is very subtle in one and very dense in another. We must use that substance only as far as our strength allows. When our strength is small and the energy of its waves is great, our body will not bear to experience it at all. From the ant to Brahmā, all is the principle of God. Tyāgarāja said, "O Rāma, who bear the title of dwelling with overflowing Prema in the ant, in Brahmā, in Śiva, Keśava and the rest, protect me," he said. Now, God is in the ant, He is in Brahmā. But if that same ant comes and bites our thigh, we kill it at once. When that same Brahmā comes and stands before us, we prostrate full length before him. The energy of those atomic waves is intense, very radiant, powerful. The energy of the atoms is very slight. So when we look at the forms of the energy waves as many and different, what we receive is many different experiences.
