In plain words
Embodiments of Prema! Strive to fill your hearts with these divine feelings. Hatred, envy and the like must not enter our hearts at all. The day we experience this divine Prema, that very day we experience divinity too. Once Dharmaja questioned Kṛṣṇa. "I could not bear to hear the abuse with which they reviled You. These Śiśupāla, Dantavaktra and the others are great sinners. They went on reviling in so many ways the Paramātma, who is the divine embodiment. Yet I thought that such people would surely have to reap the fruit of this sin some day or other. But in this great assembly, while I was watching with my own eyes, their divine life-flames merged in You. Is there union with You even for sinners such as these?" he asked. Dharmaja had a fine name, Madhurabhāṣaṇa, and a second title, Rājabhūṣaṇa. "O Rājabhūṣaṇa! O Madhurabhāṣaṇa! This is nothing but your delusion," said Kṛṣṇa. Abuse and praise, insult and honour belong only to the body, not to the Ātma. Through the attachment that says "I am the body", you have had to suffer this pain. Through this very delusion about the body, the delusion about the Ātma stood in your way. So for this sorrow or this joy, for this anger or this attachment, your own mind is the cause. Turn your mind towards the good. Beyond that, anyone at all, whoever he may be, has a place in Me.
You cannot help going back to where you came from. A pot that was born of clay breaks, falls to pieces and goes back into the clay itself. In the same way this body came from earth. In earth itself the body goes back again. The Ātma is the very form of consciousness. It remains always consciousness. The Ātma is full of Prema. It is full of light. There is a bulb there. But how far has its light spread! What form has this light? It has no form. Radiance itself is its form. In the same way, the Ātma is a radiance. One cannot speak of forms for it, saying it is like this or like that. It is only through the change in the guṇas within us that its form is shown.
Embodiments of the divine Ātma! In the divine principle, and in the word of God, there are very vast and endless meanings. Here is a small example. We think that God created all the varṇas. But if we ask ourselves why these varṇas were created, these varṇas went on changing according to guṇas and karmas. The sun has three colours.
