In plain words
All your life you must stay grateful to God, who gave you that good fortune. Do not stand at all in the way of the culture of worship of the people of Bhārata. Carry out your own duty. Whenever you wish to come to any decision, gather the elders who are in Bhārata and keep taking their counsel. "If you do not follow this way, your very life will fall," he wrote. He wrote that the culture of Bhārata brings all religions together in harmony. He declared that this service, sacrifice, Dharma and Prema are limbs of religion. So in this sacred culture of Bhārata, the feeling of service shines so very bright.
It is only because service has grown scarce in that sacred land of Bhārata today that Bhārata is falling into so many troubles. We must develop the firm faith that to be a servant is itself to be a leader. So in the service organisations, never make any judgement at all that this person is of this kind and that one of that kind. Everyone must enter the service organisations. In fact, the very coming of human life is for the sake of service. However much wealth, however much strength, however much learning we may have, the power and ability that lie in the principle of service are not to be found in anything else. Hanumān was virtuous and strong. When Hanumān, strong as he was, entered the Aśoka grove, all the rākṣasas looked in wonder at this new form, this strange form, and questioned him. 'Who are you, sir?' they asked. Do you know how coolly that Hanumān gives his answer! Without trusting at all in his own strength, his own virtue or his own power, he first gave …, saying, 'Dāsohaṃ Kosalendrasya', "I am the servant of Rāmacandra." So you must picture well how great a thing it is to be God's servant. Kṛṣṇa, the creator of all the worlds, Kṛṣṇa, the all-powerful, made Himself ready simply to drive Arjuna's chariot. From the beginning, the feeling of service has been most dear to God: every man is born of nothing less than a part of God. O man! You are not the form of the five elements. You are not an image of Prakṛti. You are not the form of the five senses. You are nothing but an eternal part of Me. First of all, the servers must keep this feeling safe in their hearts. Only then can they render service with all their heart, with no flaw in this service.
Embodiments of Prema! Human life is not merely something ordinary. "Jantūnāṃ narajanma durlabhaṃ." We are selling this human life, which is like a ruby, for charcoal. We must recognise the truth that makes it worthwhile.
