Passage 13

In plain words

But sadly, today the people of Bhārata themselves are cutting Bhāratīya culture to pieces entirely. How shameful a thing this is! So I hope that you, who are of Bhārata, will understand Bhāratīya culture well, protect it, follow it and enjoy that Ānanda.

I never draw distinctions, saying this is great and that is small. All faiths are great. The secret within all faiths is very great. But in the name of faiths no one follows this culture. That is the fault that has arisen in man. So we must understand the principle of faith well, follow it, and try to enjoy it again with joy. Every human being is fit to reach the goal. Every single person who tries to recognise his own true nature has the right. There is no distinction of "this is theirs" or "this is these people's". It has nothing at all to do with caste and creed. So believe in humanness as humanness and try to change humanness into Divinity. But you must never change it into demonic nature. All the Upaniṣads teach this sacred oneness. Every human being today follows and longs only for enjoyment, but does not follow or long for sacrifice at all. Sacrifice is vital. This is what the Veda has said. Na karmaṇā na prajayā dhanena tyāgenaike amṛtatvam ānasuḥ. We shall talk tomorrow about the relationship between this sacrifice and this enjoyment.
