In plain words
Everything happens by the will of God alone
Swami may now call Anil Kumar and tell him one thing. He may tell another boy something else. Or I may send this news through any boy. One man dies of a snakebite. One man dies when lightning strikes. One man slips, falls and dies. When all these things happen, what does it mean? If someone says, ‘God did not protect me at this moment’: that snake He Himself sent, that lightning He Himself sent; everything happens by the will of God alone. Now, a small example. We have built a super speciality hospital here. Why did it have to be built? Many people suffer from many diseases. For everyone to come to divine devotion and surrender is very hard. Some have faith in medicines, some have faith in an operation, some have faith in doctors. In this way it takes many forms. What does it matter what form it takes? ‘What does it matter if it is a village hall or a rest-house? Enough if sleep comes!’ In the same way, My one aim is that all the people should be rid of disease, keep their health and live in joy. So many people filled with śraddhā and devotion, our Venugopal, the Delhi team and the Hyderabad team as well, all these have come and are doing operations here very well. What is the reason for Venugopal and the Delhi team coming from so far to do operations? Their śraddhā and devotion towards Swami is the root cause of it. Otherwise, what need was there for them to leave Delhi, come here and toil so hard night and day in this remote village? It is their good resolve that everyone should be operated on in Swami's hospital and that everyone should be given joy. They too are doing it with Swami's aim alone, and not with some other aim. Each piece of work has to be done through one person or another. Taken as a whole, all of these have one goal, one aim!
Faith or the lack of it is the root cause of success or failure
In the old days people were terribly afraid of a heart operation. They would send for all their relatives.
