Passage 11

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

Look to your own goodness. People keep saying, 'Hellow, hellow'. What does it mean? Inside there must be hollow. But if you keep all that hatred inside and say ‘hello, hello’ on the outside, what is the use? Hellow means what comes from hollow! If there is no hollow inside and you keep matter there and say hellow, what becomes of it? Everything must come from the heart. That is the oneness of thoughts, words, action. If you do this, you can do any amount of service. We can hold the whole world in our hand. A small example. Today the whole world is coming here. What is the reason? My Prema alone is the reason for this. I say it. I do it. I experience it. This very principle of the three is the reason that draws you here. In the same way, you too are messengers of God. If you too make these three one in yourselves, the whole world will turn into the Sai Organisation. All will become your friends. By the mouth alone friendship is made. By the mouth alone friendship is ruined. So we must make friends with good words. You can’t always oblige; but you can always speak obligingly. Some, because of saṃskāras from past births, or through envy or Ahaṅkāra or some other bad feeling, are drifting apart from one another in the organisation. We must not be like that. All must be as one. Oh! he is Indian, he is American, he is German, he is Italian: we must not make differences like this. Jesus said: ‘All are one My dear son, be alike to every one.’ All are one! ‘Ekohaṃ bahusyāṃ’: this very oneness is present in everything. 1 number, 9 number: of these two, which is biggest number? In worldly sense, 9 is the biggest number. But, in spiritual sense, 1 is the biggest number. How? 1+1+1...=9. Without 'One', there is no 'Nine'. 9 number, only quantity. One is quality. Without quality no quantity!

Seeking the prosperity of the nation, we must take part in service

Embodiments of Prema! All of you, together in harmony, must make this grow well.
