In plain words
Man's life is a bed of bugs; on the earth the body is a house for diseases; go looking for happiness, and for man it is a void; do not forget this good word.
Embodiments of Prema!
Unable to recognise the worth of precious human life and of precious human values, man is selling a life like a ruby for charcoal. Truly, it is because man has forgotten his own tattva, his own svarūpa and his own abode that so wretched a state has kept coming upon life. The VC said it. ‘What is the purpose of life?’ For man to know his own svarūpa and to reach his own abode: that is the purpose of life. ‘To go back to where it was born is the nature of every living being.’ Not to some other place. That alone is man's aim. That alone is man's destination. Forgetting this, man toils in many ways from daybreak until he lies down at night, to enjoy some happiness and peace in life, to increase his property and possessions, to support wife and children, to win fame and standing.
Man Must Reach His Own Abode
Sāināth too said it. Man must get back to the very place he came from. He himself must reach his own goal. To remember the road by which he came is man's chief aim. When you ask yourself, ‘Where must I go?’, you must go back to the very place you came from. To go to some other place is not the right path for man. Who are you, really? This itself is ‘Īśāvāsyam idaṃ jagat’.
