In plain words
Not even one man is to be seen who recognises such qualities and lives by them. In this vast world, wherever you look, selfishness and self-interest alone are dancing wildly. Selfless service, a broad outlook, pure Prema are seen nowhere. So for every person who works in the Sai organisations, a look like the moon, a heart like moonlight, and speech like honey are most essential. Our look must be cool and give Ānanda. Our heart! It must be sweet. It must be tender. It must not be such as to hurt others. What must our actions be like? In every work they must win a glory that is divine, noble and new. In this Kali age, only when the heart is sacred, the words true and the deeds given to helping others, is it called trikaraṇaśuddhi.
Whatever you long for, whatever you love, think of that alone without ceasing
Every person is bound to ask why man today falls prey to so many sorrows, hardships and losses. There is only one reason for this. We must see that we do not dwell on the very thing we are trying to get rid of. You resolve, ‘This evil must not enter me.’ You who have made such a true resolve must not think of this very evil. You wish, ‘Evil must not enter me,’ but you keep thinking of that very evil all the time.
