In plain words
That is your sacred vision. Help ever, hurt never. With these there is no danger either. So set your sight on sacred thought of God, by which you move about unharmed, not falling into any danger and not hurting others. Whatever work you do, regard it as God's work alone. You are giving food to a madman. Think that this too you are offering to God as naivedya. So whatever work you do, you must do it to please God. Your sacrifice itself is the true yoga. If you give the body pleasures without sacrifices, it becomes an anthill of diseases. That is why, in the Veda: ‘Not by karma, not by progeny, not by wealth; by sacrifice alone have some attained immortality.’ How long will this position, this authority last? All these are passing clouds. Not one of them stays permanent. The body, sense objects, matter: all are things that pass. But the Ātma principle alone does not move, does not stir, does not slip, does not fall away.
We must keep satsaṅga always
So first grow samyak dṛṣṭi; at once, samyak vāk. How must we use this speech? Do not sit chattering all sorts of useless talk because you are in some crowd. We must speak only words that dwell on divinity. In this we must not speak at all of some family matter or another, or of someone else's affairs. So at every turn we are wasting all our time just by thinking of others. What fruit has come to you from thinking of others? Unrest arises in you too. Your heart too becomes soiled. Whatever vision we hold, that very vision gets printed in our heart all that while. That is why we must give no room at all to the talk of others. Keep to words that help others. Use your words to do service that is of use to others; but do not dwell in the least on others' faults, others' mistakes, others' sins.
