In plain words
Wealth again, a friend again, a wife again, land again: all this can be had again, but not the body, again and again.
Embodiments of Prema!
If wealth is lost, we can make an effort of any kind and earn that wealth back again. When a friend leaves us, we can win another friend and build up friendship. If the wife dies, one can marry again and go on living. If land is lost, we can earn it back again. All that has gone may be had again. If this body is lost, you cannot earn it back.
Recognise the Nature of the Mind
Man must believe that for all sādhanas, all efforts and all victories, this very body is what matters most. The human body is so very noble. Among the endless species of living beings and the countless peoples, humanness is exalted, gracious and noble in character. To take on such a gracious, noble human birth is itself great good fortune. But in this body there is a strange mind. Everyone knows that there is a mind in this body. But no one knows that the story of that mind is strange. It seems just as if it does not move. But it moves on faster than the wind, faster than light. Man must recognise the nature of such a mind. Even when man dies, even when the jīva takes many births, the mind alone does not change. In all beings this mind goes on, ever moving. This mind has no span of life.
