In plain words
Where there is true learning, saṃskāra is gained; where there is saṃskāra, that itself is birth; where there is true learning, comfort is won; from comfort itself comes Śānti; where there is true learning, good company is gained; where there is good company, that itself is Śānti; where there is true learning, birth is fulfilled; by a fulfilled birth comes Mukti. Only when you pursue the learning that is true and eternal, in the ocean of saṃsāra, empty of all essence, you will not sink and rise, but swiftly reach Mokṣa; so set out, all of you, for such learning.
Students! We must pursue studies that are true and eternal. Satya is everywhere, filling all. Satya does not belong to any limit of time. Satya is beyond the sway of place, time and circumstance. It has not come into being for the sake of any one person. It has come into being for the sake of all mankind. Satya is present everywhere. Satya itself is God. Why search for such divinity? People carry on a search for Satya. You must search for something that is in some particular place; but why search for Satya? So all that we are doing today is not a search for Satya. We must pledge ourselves to rooting out Asatya. Satya will reveal itself. Apart from Satya, there is nothing at all in the world. That is why we must become embodiments of Satya. Man means this: solving the problems that come up in daily life and finding the way to their remedy, we must make the effort that is needed to gain lasting Śānti. Śānti begins for us only through values. Today we push these values far away from us, and then say we want Satya, Śānti and Prema: how can we come by them?
