In plain words

If you want peace of mind, you must enter into service with the feeling of Prema that says, ‘Wholeheartedly I am serving my brothers, my sisters,’ and with the bond of kinship. Even if differences of opinion arise in some situation or other, you must change it the very next minute. You must not go on growing that hatred as it is. The Pāṇḍavas themselves are the chief witness to this. One day, when the Pāṇḍavas were roaming in the forest, Kṛṣṇa went to their leaf hut. None of the brothers was there. Only Dharmaja was there. He asked, ‘Dharmarāja! Where are the brothers?’ Then Dharmarāja tells Him. What a great ideal! ‘Kṛṣṇa! Four have gone to bring food. But a hundred are in Hastināpura,’ he said. Then Kṛṣṇa to Dharmaja: “Have you no sense? How are those hundred your brothers? You are the five Pāṇḍavas. How are all of them your brothers? It is because of them that all these troubles have been coming to you,” He said. To that Dharmaja says: ‘Kṛṣṇa! Do You not know? Among ourselves we are 105 brothers. The Kauravas are a hundred, the Pāṇḍavas five. Altogether we are 105. If differences of opinion come among ourselves, we five are separate and they hundred are separate. If anyone comes against our family, we 105 work together; so just because some difference of feeling has arisen, they do not cease to be brothers. They too are my brothers.” That kind of feeling is what we must go on growing today. Just because some difference has arisen over some matter, there must be no parting between them and you. All are brothers. We must always grow the unity that says: in that one matter the two of us are not one, but in the other matters we are one.

In the Sai organisations there are no quarrels of any kind. There are no feelings of difference of any kind. They live like children of one mother. Bring the good name that no other organisation has an ideal like this. That one name is enough for us. That name alone is what matters. If we earn a good name, we become great. If we earn a bad name, how do we become great? If there are bad ones, all become bad.
