Passage 18

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

Messenger of God: so go on proclaiming God's message. Share all God's good words with everyone. That alone is your chief duty. There is no work greater than this. There is no service greater than this. Turn even the man with a heart of stone into a heart of nectar. You must turn it into a heart of butter. Change hearts into such hearts, change yourselves too, and strive for the welfare of the world through the thought of God. You should not keep the feeling that the world should be happy, my country should be happy, the village should be happy. The world itself is one home. So India is a small room. America is a small room. Japan is a small room. England is a small room. These countries are all like rooms inside a house. So when you seek the welfare of the house, the whole world will be well. It was in this light that they said, 'May all the worlds be happy.' Above all, the sādhana you must do is the principle of Prema itself. Love, love. Yesterday the children put on a drama. How well they did it! It was through that love that the wicked man's heart was changed. So by Prema we can change any hard heart. But some hearts are even more like iron bars. It takes some time. Have a little patience. In time they too will change. Only, you must not let your own heart turn hard; you must grow it into a heart of Prema. Swami's principle, My purity, no one can experience. No one can know it. When the very first X-mas took place here, I sang a song, twenty years ago.

Love is My Form, Truth is My breath Bliss is My food My life is My message expansion is My life No season for love. No reason for love No death, no birth.

When you want to tell the news of Sai Bābā, end with this song. Then they will be able to understand.
