In plain words
But this is not pain. It is a teaching for you. When a child in its mother's womb has to come out, the mother cannot escape some pain, can she? “Ah! How this wretched child torments me!” Does any mother curse it like that? She only longs for her child to be safe and well. In the same way, when the liṅgodbhava takes place, I only rejoice that I am giving so many people a great teaching; I do not think of it as pain to Me. But for some: “So much hardship for Swami! So much pain!” That is what they think. Divinity knows no pains at all, no sorrows at all; no hardships at all befall it. For these to take shape, for two days My whole body has turned into a magnet. Whatever I touch sticks to My hand. Wherever I set foot, My feet cling to the ground. So it was a little difficult to lift one foot and set down the next. This magnetic power is not like this in everyone. Only in divinity is it so powerful. For two days I have been unable to walk. But it is no hardship to Me. As the whole body has become a magnet, that is only natural. If I touched a tumbler, it would stick to My hand just like that. These are not things to be told to others. Such magnetic power is in every human being. But it is within some limit. The power of divinity, though, is limitless.
The body is like a car
In the wind that blows, in the water we drink, in the food we eat, in the sound we hear, in the walk we walk, in the work we do... in all of them there is magnetic power. There is no place at all without magnetic power. “Wherever you seek it, there it is.” Everything is filled with magnetism. There is no power beyond magnetic power. Such power is contained in Satya alone. So if we guard Satya, divine power will arise within us. “Tat satyam uttamādhīnam”: such Satya dwells in the heart of the noble one. Who are the noble? Those whose minds are at peace, those whose hearts are full of Prema, those whose hearts are full of compassion. It is not that these sacred powers are absent in human beings.
