We are not small; we are embodiments of the infinite. Satya is our true form. Prema is our nature. Ānanda is our innate mark. On this basis we must enquire.
Union with God is Ānanda
Embodiments of Prema! We need not search for Ānanda somewhere else. Ānanda is ever in our home, at our heels, at our side, before our eyes. Whether you believe it or not, I am always full of Ānanda. You too must experience that Ānanda. Our heart is full of Ānanda. Happiness is union with God. Only when you join God is Ānanda attained. So join God. Then Ānanda will follow you like your slave. You must not be slaves to Ānanda. Ānanda must be your slave. Only then will you become true human beings. You are great heroes, men of courage, men of depth. So Ānanda must come following you; you need not go searching for Ānanda. In this, you must take Hanumān as your ideal. He had no thought but the thought of Rāma. That is why he won the name ‘Serene, virtuous, mighty: Hanumān’. You too must gain such a nature. Embodiments of Prema! You study so many studies, read so many books, gain so many powers. But all these are impermanent and untrue. Recognise the Ānanda of your heart, and your strength. Join with divinity and develop your strength. That strength is infinite. However much is spent, it goes on spreading still further. When such infinite Ānanda is within you, why should you fall prey to troubles?
