In plain words
All of you are Buddhas!
We must not think, ‘These are mine, those are strangers; this one is a friend, that one an enemy.’ All are one, be alike to everyone. All are one. We must act towards all with an equal mind. ‘This is our chief duty,’ taught the Buddha. But today no one practises this. People go on describing only the Buddha's life in glowing terms, but no one inquires into the principle of His heart. In truth, the Buddha is not just one; all of you are Buddhas! When you recognise this Satya, oneness will arise in all of you too. Unity in divinity. There is unity in divinity. There is oneness in multiplicity. To the outer eye multiplicity appears, but what exists is oneness. A man who enters a hall of mirrors sees many reflections of himself all around. The reflections are different, but the original is one, isn't it! Here I alone am speaking. But you hear My words at every single speaker. In the same way, ‘reflection’, ‘reaction’ and ‘resound’ are different, but the ‘reality’ is one. So we must make the hearts in all one. Only when the feeling of oneness arises in the mind does humanness become worthwhile. If people are merely together while there is no oneness in their minds, nothing is gained by it. “Manayeva manuṣyāṇāṃ kāraṇaṃ bandhamokṣayoḥ”: for bondage and liberation the mind alone is the cause. When we see one person he seems good; when we see another he seems bad. But this good and bad is in your own mind; it is not in the other person. We say, ‘This is a white cloth.’ We say, ‘This is a black mike.’ This black and white appear different to the sight of our eyes, but the two together are one. Every human being must recognise the Satya that there is oneness in diversity.
We must share our Prema with everyone
There is so much greatness in Buddhahood. But no one understands that greatness. Whether you have noticed it or not... the hair on the Buddha's head is set in curls upon curls.
