(To mark the 35th anniversary of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, all of Swami's students working in all of Bhagavān's institutions came together and held a special gathering in Sai Kulwant Hall on the evening of 2 September. Speaking on this occasion, Bhagavān praised His students for working selflessly and with a pure mind in the Central Trust and in the institutions connected with it. Embodiments of Prema! Our students are pure of heart, clean of mind, unselfish of heart and free of ego by nature. Selfishness does not come near them at all. A few of them here and there may make a few mistakes. But they are setting those right again by themselves. Do not think of our students as small. No one can describe their strength and ability. They themselves are doing all the work. Under the supervision of the elders, the children alone are doing all the work. So the students themselves are our Central Trust. I stood up for the sake of speaking about the selfless work they are doing; otherwise I had not thought of talking to you today. These very students will be a help and a support to the Central Trust in the future. The whole Central Trust rests on them alone. All of them are working night and day. One cannot say ‘these’ or ‘those’; all of them are working equally hard.
Students! I hope that you yourselves will stand as fit leaders of this Trust, lead it on the right path and give the world an ideal.
