In plain words
All must be in harmony with one another. All must be healthy and must be prosperous. But they must not misuse their wealth. That itself is My joy. To such people I will give any amount. I am not asking anyone for anything. If among so many people here there is anyone I have asked for money till now, let them stand up and say so. You see! There is no one. What I need comes from within Me. Money comes and goes, morality comes and grows. My aim is to make that morality grow. We must bring the village children forward. For them, along with this education, faith in God too is very important. Those who have self-confidence can achieve anything.
Bhadrācala Rāmadāsu offered all the money he collected from the people to Rāma alone. But, unable to bear the torments Tānīṣā inflicted on him, “A jewelled crest I had made for You, finely wrought, Rāmacandra! You go strutting about: whose father's wealth do You take it for, Rāmacandra!” he said reproachfully. At once he repented, bowed to Rāma and begged forgiveness. In the same way, if anyone thinks anything about Me, let them think it. Tastes differ in the world; people are crows. Each according to his own delusions, they keep talking. But I have no delusions at all. So, whatever anyone says, I greet them with Prema alone. I do not punish them in the least, saying, ‘So you spoke of Me like this!’ That they must find out for themselves. If they defy Me now, how much they will suffer later on! So you must think it over beforehand. If you come to know it beforehand, troubles will not stand in your way at all in the days ahead. Till now no one has understood My heart. They pretend to have understood, but no one has understood even a little. They see only the things that are outward. They notice only the work that goes on outwardly, but they do not in the least understand the sacred principle of Prema that springs from My heart. Yet, some day or other, they will recognise it. All must be well. All must live in Prema. Even if we have no property or possessions, if we have the one property called Prema, everything will go rightly for us. That Prema must be joined with self-confidence.
