In plain words
Do not hanker after a home in heaven, and do not dread a lodging in hell. What is to be will be; do not let the mind build its hopes. Sing the praises of Ramaiyā, and from them the highest treasure comes to hand. *(refrain)* What is chanting, what is austerity and restraint, what is fasting, what is bathing, so long as you do not know the way of it, the way of loving bhagati for Bhagavān? Seeing wealth, do not be glad; seeing misfortune, do not weep. As wealth is, so is misfortune; what the Ordainer has shaped is what happens. Says Kabīr, now I know it: he is there deep in the hearts of the saints. That servant serves well in whose body Murāri lives.
