Like a frog in a well that is full, who knows nothing of his own country or another's, so my mind, besotted with poison, cannot make out this shore or the far one. Master of all the worlds, show me your face for one instant, dear one. *(refrain)* My understanding has gone dirty, Mādhau, and your way cannot be traced. Be merciful, let the delusion break; give me a clear mind and make me understand. The great jōgīs do not reach you; the telling of your virtues has no end. It is for the sake of loving bhagati that Ravidās the cobbler speaks.
