If you are the mountain, then I am the peacock. If you are the moon, then I have become the *cakor*. Mādhau, if you do not break with me, then I will never break with you. If I broke with you, who would I join myself to? *(refrain)* If you are the lamp, then I am the wick. If you are the place of pilgrimage, then I am the pilgrim. The love I have joined with you is a true love. Joined to you, I have broken with everyone else. Wherever I go, there is your service to be done. There is no Ṭhākur like you, and no other god.
