Dhyāna verse 1
। ॥
In plain words
One should meditate on the supreme Mother, Ambikā: her form red as vermilion, three-eyed, her ruby crown shining with the moon, lord of the stars, as its crest; smiling, full-breasted, holding in her two hands a jewelled cup brimming with nectar and a red lotus; serene, her red feet resting on a jewelled vessel.
