In plain words
We bow to Kāmākṣī's most wondrous foot. It is spring, dwelling ever in the minds of devotees, yet full of the shade of gleaming rain clouds; it is pure as summer, yet it soothes men's heat; it is cool as winter with the moonlight of its nails, yet it makes the lotuses open.
Word for word
Vasanta, dwelling, of devotees though in the mind always, full of the shade of shining dense clouds, śuci though of men the heat-soother, by nail-moon-moonlight śiśira though, lotus-rise-making, we bow, Kāmākṣī's foot, the cause of great wonder.
