In plain words

In the division of waking, dream and deep sleep, the fullness of the fourth arises. For one who has withdrawn the universe in this way, he says, there is no difference at all between absorption and the return from it. In the division of waking, dream and deep sleep, which are about to be described, that is, in their various forms, their appearing as separate, there arises the fullness, the wonder, of the fourth: the fourth whose self is pulsing radiance, threaded through every state, marked out in "The upsurge is Bhairava". That is, for one joined to the great yoga just described, being made of the wonder of the fourth is constant. Some read saṃvit, "awareness", in place of saṃbhava, "arises", for a clearer sense. The Candrajñāna shows that the great yogin is made of the fullness of the fourth in waking and the rest, in the passage beginning: "As the moon, like a flower, shines on every side and with its mass of delight delights the world in an instant, so, O Devī, when the great yogin wanders the earth, with all the rays of the moon of knowledge the whole varied world he delights on every side, from Avīci up to Śiva." In the Spanda it is gathered up in the verse: "Even in the division of waking and the rest …"
