In plain words
But one massed together by delusion is a self of karma. This is what he says: One massed together by delusion, that is, by ignorance, made dense with it alone, and so the resting place of pleasure and pain: he, though, is a self of karma, always stained by good and bad. As it says in that same place: "Since, veiled by ignorance, through being joined to the method of thought-constructs, he does not at once bring forth Śiva and all the rest, therefore good and bad states are seen, because he is under their power; and from bad states supreme suffering is born."
