The works of Ramaṇa Maharṣi

Upadeśa Sāram

Verse 28

In plain words

Ask it once, plainly, and not about anyone else: what am I, actually? And if that becomes clear, here is what is found. Nothing that started. Nothing that ends. Full, with no seam in it — and because there is no seam, no distance; and because no distance, joy.

Word for word

'What is one's own nature?' — on seeing the Self: undecaying, unborn, full Consciousness-Bliss.
