The panel beside the text with the passage's meaning and its word-by-word list, always in view rather than a tap away. Auto follows your screen — it appears on a wide screen, or a tablet held in landscape, and steps aside for a single column everywhere else, phones included. Always keeps it on your own screen too, phone included, at the cost of a narrower column for the text itself. Never turns it off everywhere, even on a wide screen. Once it is showing, the arrow on its own edge collapses or reopens it for the moment without changing this choice.

Install Tatpada

Add it to your home screen and it opens like its own app — full screen, no address bar — and keeps whatever you have already read available when you are offline.

  1. Open tatpada.com in Chrome.
  2. Tap the menu (⋮) in the top right corner.
  3. Tap "Install app" — some versions of Chrome say "Add to Home screen".
  4. Confirm. Tatpada opens from its own icon from then on, full screen, with no address bar.

These settings, where you were reading in each realm, and the passages you have kept are stored in this browser. Unless you sign in, none of it is sent anywhere.
