The commentators

Bhagavadgītābhāṣyam

In plain words

And now, the fruit that comes to the one who listens —

'Full of faith' means: actually trusting it. 'Free of envy' means: with the fault-finding impulse laid down. Whatever man even listens to this text — and the word 'even' tells you how much more this holds for the one who grasps its meaning — he too is released from his wrongdoing and reaches the bright worlds, the worlds worth reaching, that belong to people of meritorious action: those who keep the fire oblation and the rites that go with it.

Close to the Sanskrit

Now, of the hearer, this is the fruit —

'Full of faith' — one who places trust; 'and free of envy' — being one from whom envy has been set aside; whichever man should even hear this text — from the word 'even' [it follows]: how much more one who possesses knowledge of its meaning — he too, freed from sin, would attain the auspicious, that is, the commended, worlds of those of meritorious deeds, that is, of those who perform the fire oblation and the other rites.
