In plain words

Students, embodiments of the divine Ātma! Man cannot live alone, merely like a drop of oil put on water. All the joy of the individual depends on the joy of society, and the joy of society on the joy of the universe. When we set about enjoying, with joy of heart, the joy of the individual, of society and of the universe, the divine teachings of the Ātma become clear to us in some measure. The root cause of students, young men and young women alike, taking the wrong road is this system of education. Only when some change comes about in the education system can we make the effort to cure the students' failings. Teaching that is merely physical and worldly is carrying man to his downfall. It is My conviction that only when moral, dharmic and spiritual teaching grows will some peace come about in the education system.

The Essence of All Religions Is Nothing but Purity of the Self

The reason compassion and Prema are lost entirely is just this: these dharmic and spiritual feelings have become wholly unknown to them. Developing self-confidence, then enjoying Ānanda and setting about sacrifice, every young man must strive in the endeavour to reach the presence called realisation. The essence of all religions teaches only purity of the self. So, only when we hate no religion and look on no caste with a feeling of separateness, and set about believing that the essence of all religions, the goal of all castes and the bond of all the śāstras is nothing but the form of Satya, which is one, shall we be people who have understood our system of education. In this one month many elders rich in experience are coming, many who bring the lives of holy souls who took in the bond and the experiences of many kinds of religions, and the sacred feelings of the great men who gave sacred strength to the culture of Bhārata. We are beginning these summer classes with the intention that you will make good use of such a chance, keep safe in the seat of your hearts the words, precious as gems, that will be spoken, make yourselves into the uplifters of the Bhārata to come, and take the fitting vow to restore the sacred culture of Bhārata.
