In plain words
You must try to grow in morality and honesty; but if honour and dignity in life are ruined, life is living death. Even while living, a man turns into one who is gone. So, when you enter the path of Satya, develop forbearance, sacrifice and harmony with one another, and grow your character toward the chief goal, surely, for happiness here, the learning that wins gold; for happiness hereafter, Brahmavidyā. In Dharmavidyā and Brahmavidyā you will become a fine and exemplary person. So, though you become educated, though you hold great, great jobs, though you become leaders of the nation, that is a great joy indeed. Even so, the heart above all must be kept pure, and you must dedicate your life to conduct that is right for the grace of God. Ānandagiri, who had no learning of any kind, became a great scholar by the gracious glance of the guru, and became the head of the Badri pīṭha. So, when we make the right efforts toward the chance of winning the guru's gracious glance or God's grace, there will be no doubt at all of our winning victory in anything.
