These have certain natural qualities. The quality of sathwic nature appears to us as if it is the very essence of peace. The rajasic quality appears to us as a mild (light). The thamasic quality appears also as a but covered by smoke. In these qualities, on some occasions, depending on how they are mixed, we find that there are some changes. When a mouse for example, has been saved by a lion from the trouble in which it has found itself, we find later on that the mouse expresses its gratitude to the lion when the lion is in distress.
