In English
“How can I offer the maiden of my poetic work who is so tender and fresh like the sprout of a sweet mango tree, to the wicked rulers and live upon the tainted food gifted by them? I would rather consider it proper for a true poet to lead a godly life as a farmer living on the fruits of his toil in the fields or by sustaining himself and his wife and children on the roots and tubers grown in the forests.”
