In plain words

Embodiments of Prema! The world has no beginning. Time has no end. The span of the body is very small. Like a fierce gale, our time is moving on and passing away. The span of life allotted to the body is melting away like a block of ice. Without recognising his duty, man leaves the body and goes. This simply cannot be a principal mark of humanness. Because science has advanced, the man of today is able to fly like a bird in the sky and to swim like a fish in the water. But man is unable to live on the earth as a man. So long as he has not earned the strength and the capacity fit for living on the earth as a man, however many kinds of learning he masters and whatever kinds of life he sets his hopes on, these cannot bear fruit. Standing in the shade of a divine power beyond humanness, he is able, by that very principle, to carry out his daily karmas as the duties and the Dharma of his life. First of all, we must try to recognise this divine principle, the support of all.

Here is a garland. Only the flowers are visible to us directly. But without the thread that is their support, these flowers could not hold together. But this thread can be recognised only when we inquire; so long as we look with the outer eye, only the flowers are known to us. For the flowers that are seen, and for the garland, the thread that is not seen is the support. Now, the flowers that are seen were buds yesterday and have opened today.
