Passage 6

In English

What is the primary aim and goal of one's life in the three goals (this-worldly), (pertaining to the other world) and (state of ultimate spiritual liberation or enlightenment)? It is this or liberation which is man's goal, destiny, and the very secret of his existence. You might have positions, you might have wealth beyond your dreams, and you might occupy positions of authority. But unless you are able to reach your destination, all of these are futile. In your household, you might have dishes and food of varied descriptions and tastes. But unless you are able to relish, eat, and partake of them, what's the use of having these in your household? The food stuff, any number of them. If you're not able to eat, what's the use of having them at all?
