In plain words
That is to say, in every matter man comes to criticise and to enquire. The power of enquiry makes Bhakti empty. All the people of this age call it blind faith. The power of enquiry of man today follows a crooked path. He cannot understand the truth. He pays no heed to a simple truth. How can such a clever man recognise the truth? The nature of a man who has drunk this nectar of Bhakti is only innocence. Man can examine only the knowledge of science; he has no right at all to examine the supreme principle. The supreme principle has no form. The principle of supreme Prema gives only experience, and is not within the reach of the measure of enquiry at all. So in this there is no room at all for rationalism.
For devotees who have heard the voice of God in waking, dream and deep sleep, no other matter reaches the ears at all
Once a Gopī asks Rādhā: "Mother! Tell me just once what happens to your heart when you see Kṛṣṇa, how it throbs, how it changes, what Ānanda it makes you feel, and make me happy." "What can I say! The moment I hear the nectar of Kṛṣṇa's Name even once, my heart stands still. The moment I hear of His coming, I forget even my body. The moment I hear His sweet music, I go mad. In this intoxication, this madness, how can I tell the experience of Kṛṣṇa? It is not possible for me," said Rādhā: that is, it is not possible to say that the experience of the principle of Prema is like this or like that.
