Even a great scientist, one who knows that this is a globe, that day and night come about only by its turning, and that otherwise there is no change in it at all, uses this very east, west, morning, evening; he follows this very thing, but he does not experience the truth at all. He does not follow it.
All creation is a mass of atoms. All these atoms are forms of waves of energy. All these waves of energy are measures of atoms. All of these atoms come about from the form of the waves of one and the same energy. Even a person who has recognised this principle of atomic energy makes no effort at all to inquire into the Supreme Principle. Here is another example. A sea. It is a liquid. From this sea we have taken a tumbler of water. The water of that sea and the water in this tumbler are one and the same. Even when we drop a small stone into this tumbler, this water moves and gives a way fit to send the stone gently to the bottom. Not only does it give the stone a way to go to the bottom; even when the slightest breeze blows, it starts up in waves. This too is atomic energy itself. In that same sea, in a storm, that is, when the wind blows, when a strong wind blows, the waves of that sea rise up in a surge, become heavier than a hard rock, and can break even the boats travelling on it into pieces. For this liquid water to take on the nature of this hard rock, the atoms within it are the cause. All of these too are forms of waves of energy.
There is a copper metal. There is gold. Besides, there is oxygen gas as well. All three of these are masses of atoms. But the worth one has, the other does not have. What is the reason for this? Only because the energy measures of these atoms are small or great do their values too take shape as great or small. There are particles still subtler than these atoms. They take shape in a combined form called the electron, the proton and the neutron. Their combined form is the form of these waves.
