In plain words
He is there, yes, God is there; though the eyes do not see Him, He is there; to drive off the darkness of the worlds, the lamps of sun and moon He keeps turning in the sky. He is there! The stars that stand in lakhs, without letting them fall to earth, He keeps holding in the heavens. He is there! This wheel of the earth, without an axle, at all times He keeps turning. He is there! Without wage or allowance, with love, for our sake, with the wind He has waved fans. He is there! The sky that shines with no support at all He keeps holding up. He is there! So that, swelling and surging, it does not fall upon the earth, He has folded back the feet of the ocean's king. He is there! He is there, yes, God is there; though the eyes do not see Him, He is there. Unseen, what is He doing? Staying behind the curtain, setting people before the curtain, He makes them dance to the beat. He is there!
Take this very mantra as today's teaching, and wherever you go, in whatever situation, you must proclaim it, beating the table: ‘He is there!’ ‘He is there!’ If you strengthen this faith, the whole world will glow with festivity, like a festoon of green leaves for a wedding that never ends. Through such proclamation we will develop fear of sin and love of God. Whatever problems come, the courage and daring to face them: this faith, ‘He is there’, becomes a Brahmāstra for us. More than any Rāma mantra, any Kṛṣṇa mantra, any Śiva mantra, the mantra ‘He is there’ alone is a very powerful mantra. Apart from that, reciting any number of mantras is of no use. Purity of citta matters more than the power of mantra and the power of yantra. So our faith must spring from the heart. There alone is God.
In the Bhagavad Gītā, God showed clearly the truth of where in the body He is.
