In plain words
In the business houses of Bhārata we must bring the culture and values of Bhārata into harmony to some extent
When we keep to discipline in an orderly way and do certain karmas by rule, the effect of these karmas shows itself in men in full measure. As a rule, in the way they use the divine power in this world, people have only a passing power of understanding, and that only to some extent. A small example. When we want to get away from darkness and enjoy light, we turn on a switch and the light comes; through it we enjoy the light. Ordinary understanding is enough for this. Every man can learn it easily. If we do not need this lamp, we can switch it off. The ordinary understanding we use in our daily activities needs no special effort. For example, there is no rule at all that only a man with special understanding should use an electric switch. Whenever a technical fault arises in it, there is someone else who sees where the key to it lies and sets it right. He is the one called a mechanic, an engineer. He sees well where the key to it lies and has the power to put its condition on the right track. In the same way, ordinary understanding is spread through every man in every way. In the same way, in our MBA, subjects such as accounts and statistics are, as a rule, the same in all countries. But some subjects are limited to certain countries and to certain times only. Recognising this is most necessary for the field of business today. For our land of Bhārata, we must bring the culture of Bhārata and the values of Bhārata into harmony to some extent.
Culture is what refines
What does culture mean? Culture is what has refined a thing. To take a thing that was there before, change it so that it is useful and suited to us, and raise its value: that is culture.
