In plain words
God notices only the purity of your heart
However many sādhanas you do, if conduct is not right, all these sādhanas are useless! God examines the purity of your heart; He does not look at all at the conduct shown outwardly or the charities done outwardly. He does not look at the quantity, how much you gave in charity. He looks at the quality, with what intent you gave. The world looks at what kind of notes you sang, blended with what rāga and tāla; but God looks at the feeling with which you sang. So, above all, if we want to recognise the svarūpa and svabhāva of these six cakras, then within us our feelings, our conduct, our contemplations and our thoughts must be right. These are joined with the Haṃsa principle. That is, only when they are joined at all times with the thought of God can we easily gain the fruit of these six cakras.
Before these, we must recognise Aṣṭāṅga yoga. That is yama, niyama, āsana, prāṇāyāma, pratyāhāra, dhāraṇā, dhyāna, samādhi. These principles are very well-ordered stations for man. They are paths every man must follow. If we recognise this easy path, we can solve difficult problems easily. Next Thursday we shall learn about these limbs of Aṣṭāṅga yoga.
