In plain words
Then Peter, taking Jesus's Joy in a different meaning, would keep it in remembrance. ‘JOY means J-Jesus is first; O-others are next; Y- myself is last,’ he said. We must recognise well the inner meaning in what is called JOY. That is, of himself he said ‘myself is last’; but what really is the meaning of Y? Yourself is last. J-Jesus is first. O-Others are next. Y-Yourself is last: that is, today each one, for himself, keeps ‘I, I, I’ as 1st. What is called GOD stays last. What we must recognise today is: God 1st, Prakṛti next, the jīva last. That is, only when one forgets one's own nature does one forget the reflection in the mirror called the world. At that very moment, the jīva-hood becomes one.
All men are of one race; that is the human race
To teach such Divinity within humanness, all countries and all religions have taught that the goal is one. But because such breadth of heart within humanness is declining day by day, their feelings keep on changing. Today we must strive to grow, with Prema itself as our chief goal. All are children of the one Lord! The religion of all is one! The race of all is one! That is the human race. The religion of us all is the principle of Prema itself! We must hold that what all religions agree on is itself our own view. We must also have faith in this as a vow. Only when we broaden humanness in this way will we have the chance to follow sacred Divinity. We must not take it as true that this is merely a humanness of form. I am a man; I belong to the human race. For me there is one race alone. I am one born in a sacred land. What is my country? The sacred Bhārata. What are the borders of this Bhārata? On one side, the Himācala.
