Passage 15

In plain words

All are one. All must live as children of God. There is no difference whatever in anyone. Because it is humanness, now and then some faults and differences may come up. But we must set them right. But we must not go forward on that same path. What has passed has passed. We have come along watching the road we walked. We must look at the road ahead. So I hope that all of you, living as sisters, will be ready to give the right ideal within these Sai organisations. I have no connection whatever with these organisations. You must look after yourselves. If you are happy, My only task is to feast on that happiness. Between you and Me there will always be a personal relation. But if this relation grows still more through the organisation as well, you can experience still more joy. So what you must chiefly recognise is this: through these changes of posts, or through some changes of work, give no room to discouragement; develop still more zeal, stay within these very organisations, experience lasting Ānanda, give the ideal, fulfil the purpose of your birth and take part in this; hoping so and blessing you, I bring My talk to a close. But as to these district officers, the committees that concern them, and all these changes, who is to be where and in what way, Indulal Shah will give within a short time.

Of all our services, this service of group bhajan stays for ever in everyone's heart. Though people may not come together in anything else, in this group bhajan everyone's words, everyone's hearts, everyone's sound too, all merge into it. So in bhajan there is the chance to develop this unity, turn the heart to purity, and attain divinity, the divine state. So the women must greatly develop this bhajan training. The men too must take part in this bhajan. The men too must give more of these bhajan trainings. Why training? In some organisations they sing bhajans. In an aeroplane people put cotton in their ears; one has to put cotton in like that. They are that much out of tune. The quality of a bhajan must be such that it moves and melts the heart. It must not be the kind that drives the heart away. So the women must take up the responsibility of giving the right training in these bhajans. Service, and talks bound up with the spiritual principle: in this the men must take up more responsibility. The whole change in society must come about through these men.
