In plain words

Embodiments of Prema! There is no need to search for God. God is always right there. Where would we search for Him? Searching for God, who is wherever we look, is needless. There is only One. Only One is seen. Only One is everywhere. But these sādhanas are not for searching for Him either. No. Our sādhana is for rooting out the impurities called attachment and hatred that have gathered in man. If we wipe away this attachment and hatred, He stands as He is, Himself. We need make no other effort to attain Him. We neglected the fire. As we neglected it, ash covered it over. Because the ash covers it, we do not see the fire. Just because the fire is not seen, are we to argue that there is no fire? No. No. The fire is there. If we remove the ash that has gathered on it, the fire is seen. In just the same way, God, the all-knowing one called the Ātma, the sun of Jñāna, dwells in our heart. Because we neglected Him, it has been covered over there by the desires called Māyā and Prakṛti. If we remove the ash that covered it, the fire is seen. That is realisation. We do not have to get this realisation from somewhere else. We ourselves are the embodiment of God. Each one is an embodiment of God. God is not apart. Within this temple called the body, God is installed and seated. So, My golden ones! Make the right effort to see the divinity that is within you. You yourselves are embodiments of God. You are not separate. We must recognise this truth at least in some measure.

It has been said that man is a mixed form of two substances. What is that mixture? Ātma and non-Ātma, the inert and the conscious, the field and the knower of the field, the body and the embodied, the frame and the one who dwells in the frame. Human nature exists only by the unity of these two. We must separate the two and try to recognise which is real and which is unreal. Many women know it: they call it the grinding stone. There is one stone below and one stone above; the lower one is fixed, the upper one moves. For this moving stone the fixed stone is a mutual support. They are bound together, neither one without the other. If one is there and the other is not, our work is not done. So the fixed stone must be below. The turning stone must be above. Right between them some substances are made into powder.
