In plain words

Wherever it is, we will take it out and give it," they said. "He wants the dust of your feet, it seems," Nārada said. One Gopī set off for her house. She brought a big bed-sheet. On that bed sheet all the Gopīs danced. They tied all that dust of their feet into a bundle this big, and told him to take it at once. "Nārada, delay no longer; take it at once and cure our Kṛṣṇa's pain," they said, and they begged him. Nārada was astonished: "The nature of fools without knowledge of the Vedas, Śāstras, Itihāsas and Purāṇas is just like this. The Gopīs are simply fools. They have agreed to put the dust of the Gopīs' feet on Kṛṣṇa's head. Hell will come to them," he told the Gopīs. "Gopīs, you are doing a foolish thing. You will go to hell. You are handing over the dust in this way!" he asked. The Gopīs said, "Nārada! Not to hell only; even if we go to any other world whatever, it does not matter. If our Kṛṣṇa is well, that alone is enough," they said. "Hell for us or heaven for us, that selfish concern of ours we do not need; our Kṛṣṇa must be well. Our Kṛṣṇa must be safe and sound," the Gopīs begged. The moment the Gopīs gave the dust of their feet there, Kṛṣṇa sat there laughing happily. By the time Nārada went there and untied the bundle, Kṛṣṇa was laughing. Before the medicine was even put on, You are already cured! "The very moment the Gopīs gave the dust of their feet, at that minute My pain was cured," He said. That is, "The Gopīs, who give up selfishness, forget the fruit for themselves and think only of God's Ānanda, are the supreme devotees," He said. There is no selfishness in them of 'What hardship will it be to me if I give this, what loss will it be to me if I give this?' I am in all beings. That foot is Mine, that dust is Mine. All is Mine.

Can they find Me, the eighty-four lakhs of living beings He never leaves at any time, they say; He shines, they say, as the atom and as the boundless Whole. (Can they find Me) Among great thieves I am the master thief.

In your sight you think he is a thief. In My sight he is Myself. It is to proclaim such divinity to the world as oneness that these Avatāras have come.

So we must not think that divinity is only some special thing, in some special form. There must be unity. The problems in the world today cannot be cured in any way. Unity, oneness of mind, is most necessary. Oneness of mind itself is the thread of life. It is in this thread that the Ānanda of divinity is held.
