In plain words
That itself is the great miracle,’ he said.
The inner meaning of this is that anyone may forget themselves in nāma-saṅkīrtana. It is the Name alone that makes us lose ourselves, sets us singing and opens the way to Ānanda. So, with the Name, we must make some effort to cross over saṃsāra.
Embodiments of the divine Ātma! Now that all of you have come here, the one thing above all that you must recognise, that you must know, is this. Setting aside differences of race and religion, taking no account at all of caste, creed or colour, you must know this: all are the children of God.
Our race is one: the human race; our worship is one: God; our caste is one: the caste of Prema; our language is one: the language of the heart.
Recognise this equality, push away the feelings of difference, take the feeling of Prema into your heart, and make your life worthwhile in the divine nāma-saṅkīrtana.
That very Name bestows every comfort. It makes us live our life in happiness and Śānti. Through it attachment and aversion go far away. For man, Prema alone is the chief goal. So, to drive away this attachment and aversion, foster the Tattva of Prema. By that you will suffer no loss at all. It will wipe out your sins.
